This is one restaurant that can't be beat. They have the best 100% Black Angus USDA Prime Steaks and Roast Beef in the area, if not the state--or even the country. Whoever grills the steaks at this place should be the Head Chef at Peter Luger's Steakhouse in New York City! The restaurant generally offers special dinner packages that include entertainment (with or without lodging) for all holidays.

If you only have time for one store, this is one of our most favorite places to stop. The Northwoods provides unique gifts, gift baskets, and gift ideas, as well as country style and Northwoods home and cabin decor, wall decor, bathroom decor, and more. Antiques and consignments are also a lage part of the merchandise. Be aware: it's easy to spend hours here without knowing where the time has gone.

For excellent fun and entertainment for the entire family, these favorite places are located together east of town. If you're coming to Wisconsin for a family vacation on a budget, need a place to host a birthday party or other celebration, or just looking for a weekend getaway or summer family time together, Midwest Amusement Park and USA International Raceway have it all, from mini-golf, a swimming pool and bumper boats to participating in the Arrive-and-Drive go kart program or being a spectator at one of the motorcycle events.

On your way out of town, fill up at their two branch locations located at 716 S Main Street on the way to Clintonville, or 1381 E Green Bay Street on the way to Green Bay.

Who would think to put a gas station on their list of favorite places? Well, People's Express, by popular vote, is Shawano's Number One gas station and boasts the area's best convenience store. Not only that, they have copy/print/fax, Western Union, and overnight package dropoff for UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL.

The prices are great, the selection of grocery and gift items is even better, and the customer service is the best in town. Talk about convenience--this is one-stop shopping at it's best. Oh, and did we mention that they have the lowest gas prices in the area?
